Georgia Allen McGaha

  Funeral services for Georgia Allen McGaha were held Saturday,
Nov. 14, at 2 p.m., at Union Baptist Church, with Rev. Willis
Greer, and Rev. J. P. King officiating.

  Mrs. McGaha of Many died Thursday, Nov. 12, at her home, due to
a sudden illness. She was 79.

  She is survived by a son, Huey McGaha of Many; five daughters,
Aleane Nash of Belmont, Lurlene Cheshire of Callahan, Fla.,
Vivian Masters of Provencal, Gertie L. Bison of Florien, and Nell
Maxey of Zwolle; a brother, Charles Miles of Natchitoches; four
sisters, Elizabeth Dorsey of Belmont, Aleane Brown of
Jacksonville, Fla., Joyce Tanner of Mitchell, and Loyce Miles of
Pleasant Hill; a step mother, Helen Miles of Pleasant Hill; 27
grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.

  Her pallbearers were her grandsons.
