Muse, 59, of Longview, Tex., were held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 21, at Longview Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Elders Arlie Barksdale, Richard Ganschow, Tucker Conley, Harry Nimtz, and William T. Grubbs officiating. Burial was in Kelsey Cemetery near Gilmer, Tex., with Welch Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Muse died Tuesday, June 18, at Longview General Hospital. A native of Fisher, and a graduate of Many High School, Class of '42, he has been a resident of Longview, Tex. For 34 years. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed in the Accounting Department for Texas Eastman. Survivors include his widow, Kathleen Gibson Muse; four sons, Nathaniel Lee, Owen Kimball, and Jay Clifford, all of Union Grove, Tex., and Douglas Muse of Longview; two daughters, Coleen Muse Pickup of Tule Lake, Calif., and Bonnie Muse Wagley of East Mountain, Tex.; mother, Eula Muse Wyatt; brother, James Robert Muse; two sisters, Ruby M. Sprouse, and Eula M. McDaniel, all of Many; and 14 grandchildren.
