The Rev. Frank Cyphers officiated. Burial was at Lambertown Cemetery near Robeline, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La. Miss Massey, the daughter of the late George Massey and Susie Nelson Massey, died Monday, October 7, 1985, at Pilgrim Manor North Nursing Home in Bossier City, La. She taught school for 38 years in Sabine and Natchitoches Parishes, and was active in church and Sunday School activities. She is survived by two nieces, June Rachal, and Joann Massey Rougeau of Bossier City, La.; four nephews, Allison Salley of Fort Worth, Texas, Bobby Salley of Fort Worth, Texas, Bobby Salley of Pleasant Hill, La., Jerry Salley of Ringgold, La., and Terry Massey of Shreveport, La.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. R. A. Massey of Natchitoches, La.; one brother-in-law, Rev. J. C. Salley of Waco, Texas. Pallbearers were Jerry Salley Jr., Ted Salley, Frank Rougeau, Kevin Rougeau, Robert Allen Rougeau, Billy Alton, and Randal Rhodes.
