Ural Maxey (Photo)

  Ural Maxey, 77, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at his residence
in Zwolle.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, at
Warren Meadows Funeral Home, with interment following at Bayou
Scie Cemetery. The Rev. Bonita Davis officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Helen Russell Maxey of Belmont;
four daughters, Gloria Rains and husband Randel of Zwolle, Nelda
Rains of Mansfield, Billie Carol Maxey of Belmont, and Diane
Rivers and husband Mike of Stonewall; one brother, Paul Maxey of
Noble; three sisters, Mattie Lee Maxey, and Nannie Brandon, both
of Zwolle, and Mary Partain of Gary, Texas; six grandchildren,
Rusty Rains, Shawn Arthur, Milicent Day, Shane Rivers, Erin
Rains, and Kevin Rivers; and seven great grandchildren.

  Mr. Maxey was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Anna
Maxey; and brothers, Hoyt, Louis, and Richard Maxey.
