Claude Maxey

  Mr. Claude Maxey, 71, of Many, died at Sabine Medical Center, on
April 8, 1987.

  Services were held at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, on April 9,
1987, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Ramon Manasco officiating. Burial
was at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Lee Maxey of Many; two
daughters, Mrs. Wanda Randolph, and Mrs. Claudine Dell, both of
Many; four sisters, Mrs. Lois Neal, and Mrs. Anna Guay, both of
Many, Mrs. Mildred Marr of Shreveport, and Mrs. Catherine Neal of
Port Arthur, Texas; one brother, Horace Maxey of Many; seven
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
