All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Raymond Ira "Boots" Muse Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Ira "Boots" Muse, 79, of Campti, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Natchitoches. Bishops Loy Gaar, and David Wood will officiate. Burial will follow in the Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Muse died Sunday, Feb. 4, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. He was a native of Sabine Parish, and a resident of Natchitoches Parish for 10 years. He was a retired banker of 40 years, a vice president, cashier, and a member of the Board of Directors of the bank in Logansport. Also, Mr. Muse was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII, was active in civic affairs, a past mayor of Logansport, and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Cora Marie Cobb Muse of Campti; one son, R. Perry Muse (wife Linda) of Chireno, Texas; five daughters, Janice Braud of Jena, Lina Ann Prudhomme (husband Tommy) of Natchitoches, Meliss Trammel (husband Travis) of Campti, Mona Bamburg (husband Marty) of Coushatta, and Sarah Martin (husband Glenn) of Natchitoches. He is also survived by one sister, Lucille Wright of Many; one brother, Melvin Muse of Many; 15 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Raymond P. Muse II, Cody Muse, John Braud, Matt Prudhomme, Travis Trammell III, Scott Allen, Craig Fowler, Mike Knepp, David Zachary, and Ted Methvin. Honorary pallbearers are the sons-in-law.
