Mrs. Alma Lee Maxey

  Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Lee Maxey, 72, of Many, were held
at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 29, 1997, at Les Fontaine Funeral
Home Chapel.

  Rev. Charles Luke officiated. Burial was in Pilgrim's Rest
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Maxey died on Wednesday, March 26, 1997, in Many.

  She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Thomas Maxey.

  Mrs. Maxey is survived by two daughters, Wanda Randolph of Many,
and Claudine Dell of Milam, Texas; one sister, Jewel Marie
Thornton of Stonewall; and one brother, Henry J. Brantley of
Shreveport; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Ricky McConnell, David Thornton, Ray Rushing,
Chris Stark, Donnie Neel, and Tommy Randolph.
