Mr. Horace Maxey (Photo)

  Mr. Horace Maxey, 88, died Friday, March 26, 1999, at Guest
House in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 28, at Oak
Hill Baptist Church, with interment following at Oak Hill
Cemetery. The Rev. Earl Marr, the Rev. E. E. Walker, and the Rev.
Cecil Marr officiated.

  Survivors include two daughters, Corine McCalman of Shreveport,
and Lorraine Alford of Mesquite, Texas; three sisters, Catherine
Neel, and Mildred Marr, both of Shreveport, and Lois Neel of
Many; two grandchildren, Sandra Kay Johnson, and Tane Willis;
three great grandchildren, Keven Wayne Johnson, Kurth Dean
Johnson, and Caylan Willis; one great-great grandchild, Brennan
Johnson; and a host of friends.
