Alfred Massey

  Funeral services for Alfred Massey, 88, of Natchitoches, who
died after an extended illness, were held Friday, Feb. 14, in the
Warren Meadows Chapel, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating.

  Interment was in Old River Cemetery near Natchitoches, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives include three daughters, Mrs. Edith Horn of
Many, Mrs. Alice Rae Rachal of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Clovis E.
Prairie of New Orleans; three sons, Dr. W. J. Massey of
Baltimore, Md., Jerry Massey of Natchitoches, and Auben Ray
Massey of Ponchatoula; one brother, Elisha Massey of Bellwood;
two sisters, Mrs. Ina Booty of Peason, and Mrs. Bell Britt of
Texas; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Clovis E. LaPrairie Jr., Mike Lambert, Paul
Gewin, Jerry Jones, E. F. Mitchem, and David Wascocu.
