He was 56, and a native of Converse. He was manager of the Yaun Welding and Machine Works. Religious services were at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., May 2, conducted by the Rev. J. Garland McKee. Burial was in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Moak is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Chaney; his mother, Mrs. Beulah W. Moak, Baton Rouge; two sons, Leamon Wayne Moak, and David Michael Moak, both of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. W. P. Shoemake, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. P. M. Grass, Lake Charles; two brothers, James E. (Bill) Moak, and C. P. (Red) Moak, both of Baton Rouge; and a grandson, Russell Wayne (Rusty) Moak, Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his father, T. A. Moak; and a brother, E. J. Moak. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Converse, the Greater Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce, and the U.C.T. Pallbearers were Stacy Moak, Bob Moak, Tommy Moak, Wallace Shoemake, Charles Pace III, and James W. Murray.
