Norman W. Maxey

  Funeral services were held for Norman W. Maxey, 76, Wednesday,
September 6, at Aimwell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmie
Lilly officiating. Burial was in Aimwell Cemetery, with Warren
Meadows Funeral Home in charge.

  Mr. Maxey died in Shreveport after a long illness.

  Survivors are Emmitt Leon Maxey, and Tony Lee Maxie; daughter,
Mrs. Maxine Cooper, all of Shreveport; sister, Mrs. Lula Martin
of Shreveport; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Clarence Maxey, Gene Sharbone, Lige Cooper, T.
M. Phillips, Truett Walden, T. R. Turner.
