Floyd McPhearson

  Floyd S. McPhearson, 65, of Shreveport, died Monday, Nov. 21, in
Confederate Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness.

  The Marthaville native was a 30 year resident of Shreveport, and
a swimming pool attendant for Santa Anna Unified School District.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, in
Marthaville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Raymond Kelley, pastor
of Parkhurst Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in
Marthaville Cemetery, directed by Wellman's Funeral Home.

  Mr. McPhearson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Della L.
McPhearson of Shreveport; two sons, Charles McPhearson of
Riverside, Calif., and James McPhearson of Shreveport; two
daughters, Mrs. Toni Olesek of Santa Anna, Calif., and Mrs. Patsy
Conder of Bakersfield, Calif., one brother, Charles McPhearson of
Marthaville; one sister, Mrs. Gertie Coleman of Marthaville; 11
grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

  Mr. McPhearson was a Baptist, and a veteran of World War II.
