Services will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 31, in Hickory Grove Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Cockerell, and the Rev. J. D. McNeel officiating. Burial followed in the Lambertown Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, James McFerren of Robeline; five sons, Sgt. Willie Powell Jr. of Topeka, Kan., Gerald Powell of Shreveport, David McFerren of Robeline, Joe Lee McFerren of Blanchard, and James Ray McFerren of Colfax; five daughters, Nelva Berry, and Deborah Berry, both of Robeline, Lucille Ashby of Blanchard, Ruthie Basco of Boyce, and Lettee Armond of Shreveport; six brothers, Clifford Stewart of Denham Springs, Obie Stewart of Marthaville, and Sgt. Prentis Stewart of Germany; two sisters, Bertha Lee Durr of Marthaville, and Irene Reece of Shreveport; and 20 grandchildren.
