Mrs. Luella M. McFarland

  Funeral services for Mrs. Luella M. McFarland of Anacoco, were
held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 12, at
3 p.m. The Rev. C. C. Pierce officiated. Burial was in the Oak
Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. McFarland died on Wednesday, June 10, in the Byrd Memorial
Hospital in Leesville. She was 75.

  Survivors include her husband, Monroe B. McFarland of Anacoco;
three sons, Louis McFarland of Humble, Tex., G. T. McFarland of
Jacinto City, Texas, and Monroe McFarland of Florien; one
daughter, Mrs. Lois Rice of Anacoco; two stepsons, R. C.
McFarland, and Roy McFarland, both of Buna, Texas; two
stepdaughters, Naomi Barras of Houston, Texas, and Lena Mae Bush
of Sulphur; one brother, M. C. Morris of Livingston, Texas; four
sisters, Jessie Ener of Yellowpine, Texas, Lillian Schults of
Buna, Texas, Minnie McFarland of Jasper, Texas, and Sudie Meeks
of Pineland, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and
one great-great grandchild.
