William Taylor McPhearson

  Funeral services for Mr. William Taylor McPhearson, 80, of
Marthaville, were held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16, in the
Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Officiating was
the Rev. Edwin Fenton, assisted by the Rev. Donald Doggett.
Burial followed in Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mr. McPhearson was a retired school bus operator, and a native
of the Marthaville area. He died Saturday morning, Dec. 15, 1984,
in Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Waters McPhearson of
Marthaville; three sons, Huey McPhearson of Natchitoches, Roger
and Bobby McPhearson, both of Marthaville; four daughters, Joyce
Hall of Mansfield, Lois Shelley of Doyline, Cecil Nelson of
Marthaville, and Sherry Price of Shreveport; one brother, R. C.
McPhearson of Marthaville; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Warren of
Coushatta.
