Raleigh C. McPherson

  Funeral services for Raleigh C. McPherson, 74, of Marthaville,
were held Saturday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m., in Jennings Chapel
Congregational Methodist Church, with the Revs. Ed Fenton, and W.
F. Jennings officiating. Burial was at Beulah Cemetery.

  McPherson died at 6:20 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, at
Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

  He was a native of Marthaville, a member of Jennings Chapel
Congregational Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Marthaville
Chapter No. 453, and OES chapter 223, Marthaville.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iris Weeks McPherson of
Marthaville; three sons, Henry McPherson of Pelican, Paul
McPherson, and Clyde McPherson, both of Marthaville; one sister,
Mrs. Nellie Warren of Coushatta eight grandchildren; and ten
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Curtis Niette, Gerald Townsend, Ron Dyes, Roy
Rawls, Nuel Rawls, and Glen Carter.
