Mrs. Gladys Ilene McPhearson

  Services for Mrs. Gladys Ilene McPhearson, 76, were held at 10
a.m., Friday, August 11, 1995, at the Marthaville Baptist Church.
Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, following the services.

  Mrs. McPhearson passed away Tuesday, August 8, 1995, after a
brief stay at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Mrs. McPhearson was born May 12, 1919, in Benton, Kan., to the
late Thurman Benjamin (Hollie) and Mary Edna (Miller) Middleton.

  Mrs. McPhearson was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Durr;
and brothers, William T., and Clyde Middleton.

  Mrs. McPhearson is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles
W. McPhearson Sr. of Marthaville; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Charles W. McPhearson Jr. and wife Velta of Claremore, Okla., and
Eugene McPhearson and wife Gayle of Slidell; six daughters and
sons-in-law, Janice and L. D. Kinsinger of Bullard, Texas, Jean
and Raymond Cheatman of Malvern, Ariz., Vera and Jim
Rothlisberger of Safford, Ariz., Elaine and Charlie Gibbs of
Malvern, Ariz., Pam and Charlie Moore of Campti; and daughter,
Donna Able of Natchitoches; two sisters, Vera Jennings of
Marthaville, and Maxine Hawkins of Safford, Ariz.; one brother,
Claude Middleton of Houston; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were grandson, David Boyles, Michael Boyles, Drew
Boyles, Brad Hyatt, Kyle Rothlisberger, Wade McPhearson, Bruce
Able, Bradley Able, Andy McPhearson, and Jason McPhearson.
