The Rev. Jerry Schmucker, former pastor of Pinecroft Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Miller, pastor of First Baptist Church of Converse. Burial was in Converse Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel in Shreveport. Mrs. Moses, a homemaker, died at 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1983, at her residence, after a sudden illness. She was born in Boleyn, La., and had resided in Vivian since 1955. She is survived by her husband, Jessie A. Moses of Vivian; three sons, O. L. Moses of Shreveport, Roy Allen Moses of Blanchard, La., and Ray Loyd Moses of Vivian; two daughters, Margie Berry of Noble, La., and Betty Emmons of Shreveport; three sisters, Ivis Moses of Converse, Maude Lewis of Mansfield, La., and Evie Clark of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Walter Dans of Mansfield; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
