Horace G. Moses Sr.

  Final services for Mr. Horace G. Moses Sr. of Converse, were
held Sunday, June 24, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home chapel. Officiating were Rev. Jerry Schmucker, and Rev.
Rodeheaver. Interment was in the Converse Cemetery.

  Mr. Moses, 82, died at his residence on Rt. 1, Converse, at 2
p.m., Friday, June 22, 1984.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ivis D. Moses of Converse; one
son, Horace G. (Buddy) Moses Jr., Shreveport; three daughters,
Mrs. Mildred A. Jackson, Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Bobbie C.
Palmer, Shreveport, Mrs. Lois Dean Henderson, Fort Lavaca, Tex.;
two sisters, Mrs. Marie Dyess, and Mrs. Lurline Burrow, both of
Shreveport; one brother, Jesse A. Moses, Shreveport; 10
grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
