All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Leonard Joseph Migues Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Joseph Migues, 85, of Pleasant Hill, will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 1997, at Progress Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Gordon Warren, and Hugh Hannah will officiate. Burial will be in the Progress Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Migues died Monday, April 14, in Pleasant Hill. Mr. Migues served in the armed forces during World War II, in Alaska. He was a charter member of the Lamar University football team, coached by John Gray. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gwendolyn Migues of Pleasant Hill; one son, Phillip J. Migues (wife Peggy) of Lafayette; one daughter, Deborah M. Guedry (husband Dale) of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Lauren Guedry, and Brock, Brandon, and Brooke Migues. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elsie Mae Migues; six sisters; and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Clarence Gewin, Nathan Gewin, Brandon Migues, Paul Gewin, Brock Migues.
