Allen McGaskey

  Allen McGaskey, 58 year old Fisher Negro, was killed in a
logging accident Monday morning, about 8, according to Sheriff's
Deputy Alfice Brumley. The accident happened about four miles
west of Bellwood, near the Massey Cemetery, just inside Sabine
Parish.

  Brumley said McGaskey was standing behind the cab of a truck,
putting ice in a chest, when he was hit by a log loader. Sabine
Parish Coroner, Dr. James Sauls, pronounced McGaskey dead at the
scene.

  The dead man was employed by Boise Cascade, and before that had
been working for many years for Louisiana Longleaf Lumber Co.
