William Hassan officiating. Burial will follow in Ajax Cemetery at Ajax, La., under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Mr. Megason, 75, of Robeline, died at 5:35 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 1993, in Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Megason, a native and lifelong resident of Robeline, was a retired fence contractor, and a veteran of World War II, with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Beulah Methodist Church near Marthaville. Survivors include his wife, Gertie Megason of Robeline; two sons, Olan Megason of Natchitoches, and Mark Megason of Robeline; one daughter, Ann Anderson of West Monroe; three sisters, Gladys Lauw of Natchitoches, Avis Johnson, and Louise Smith, both of Robeline; four brothers, Bee R. Megason of Wascom, Tex., Dick Megason of Safford, Ariz., Claudia Megason of Clute, Tex., and Kenny Megason of Robeline; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Randy McNealy, Neal McNealy, Don Lauw, Bee R. Megason, Richard Johnson, and Kenneth Megason.
