Jack L. McDaniel
 
  Jack (J.L.) McDaniel of Many died in Hines Nursing Home in Pineland,
Tex. at 1 a.m. on Thursday, Jan 8, following a short illness. He was 91.

  Survivors include four sons; Leon J. McDaniel, Elton W. McDaniel,
and Robert L. McDaniel, all of Negreet, and J. T. McDaniel of Leesville;
one sister, Gracy Urban of Shreveport, 10 grandchildren, 23
great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on
Friday, Jan 9, at 11 a.m. Rev. B. J. Tidwell, Sr. officiating. Burial
was in the Zion Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.
