Mrs. L. A. McDaniel

  Mrs. Leva A. McDaniel, 74, died Monday in Leesville.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, in the Oak
Grove Baptist Church in Hornbeck, with the Rev. A. Wayne Read
officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

  Survivors include three sons, Norman McDaniel of Gorum, Cleo McDaniel
of Boyce, and Leo McDaniel of New Orleans; four daughters, Mrs. Lilly
Gentry, and Mrs. Lathay Underwood, both of Florien, Mrs. Mavis Allen of
Boyce, and Mrs. Katherine Hillman of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers,
Oliver Airhart of Kisatchie, and Archie Airhart of Baton Rouge; her
mother, Mrs. Ammy Airhart of Kisatchie; and 15 grandchildren.
