McDonald, age 70 years, passed away at his home in Many early Sunday morning. He had been a resident of Sabine parish for the past 20 years. At the time of his death he operated the business known as Uncle Mack's Place. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Many Methodist church by Rev. Cleburne W. Quaid, pastor, assisted by Rev. Charles S. Miers, pastor First baptist church, Many. Burial was at Forst Park cemetery, Shreveport, Massingill funeral home of Many in charge. services were conducted by Rev. T. C. Pennell, pastor, Engelside Baptist church, Shreveport. Mr. McDonald was the son of he late Willard P and Martha Boyd McDonald. He was born at Center Point, Ark. Sept. 22, 1878. He is survived by his widow, Mary Minda McDonald; one daughter, Mrs. Seth Losey, Shreveport; two sons, Hugh and Harry McDonald, Many; two sisters, Mrs. Charles P. James and Mrs. Robert L. Gantt, Wilton, Ark.; four grandsons, two nieces and two nephews. Pallbearers were Reuben Peterson, Wallace DeLatin, Harry Mims and his four grandsons, Thomas Losey, Eugene McDonald, Billy Losey and Ralph McDonald.
