McDonald 9 Jul 1948 - Mrs. J. D. McDonald of Mitchell passed away at 7:05 a.m., June 15 after an extended illness. Funeral services were at Mitchell Methodist church with interment in Mitchell. She leaves to mourn her aging her husband, J. D. McDonald, Mitchell; sox children, Miss Claudie McDonald, Wilbur McDonald, all of Mitchell, Earl McDonald of Oak Grove and Nathan McDonald, U. S. army, Fort Knox, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Maurice, Frances, Vallery Loye, Harry Talton, Ruthie Mae, Glen Ray, Wilburn Jr., and Ronald McDonald; a brother, Nathan Crain, Terry, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Deggs, Carrigan, Texas, and a great number of relatives and friends. She was a sincere Christian, loving and serving God. She was a friend to everyone. To know her was to love her.
