James R. McDaniel

  James Robert McDaniel, 76, of Hornbeck, died Monday, May 13, in
a Many hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, in the Oak
Grove Bible Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Read officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the
Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Survivors include his widow; three sons, Hoover H. McDaniel of
Collinsville, Ill., John H. McDaniel, and Herbert E. McDaniel,
both of Hornbeck; six daughters, Mrs. Fannie Redmond, Mrs. Von
Vann, and Mrs. Betty Willecutt, all of Collinsville, Ill., Mrs.
Evon Wilson, and Mrs. Rugh Dixon, both of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Faye
Bridger of Granite City, Ill.; 26 grandchildren, and three great
grandchildren.
