H. A. McDaniel

  Harvey A. McDaniel, 75, of Shreveport, died Saturday, at 10
a.m., in Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief illness.

  A native of Hemphill, Tex., Mr. McDaniel had resided in
Shreveport for 50 years, and was a retired barber, a retired
school patrolman, and a Baptist.

  Funeral services were held Monday, at 2:30 p.m., in the Marshall
Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Shreveport.

  The Rev. H. B. Fuller, pastor of Shreve City Baptist Church,
officiated, and burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

  Mr. McCaniel is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle McDaniel of
Shreveport; a son, Tilman McDaniel of Holbrook, Ariz.; a brother,
Jack McDaniel of Many; a sister, Mrs. Grace Urban of Shreveport;
five grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Mr. McDaniel's nephews.
