The Sabine Index - Henry L. McDonald

  13 Jul 1956 - Funeral services were held at the chapel of the
Warren Funeral home Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m. for Henry L.
McDonald, 27-year-old Converse sailor who drowned June 17 at
Yolosuka, Japan.

  The Rev. Jerry Schumaker of Shreveport officiated.

  Burial was in the Converse cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Lorraine
McDonald; one son, Michael; his mother, Mrs. Martha McDonald of
Converse; four brothers, J. V. McDonald of Orange, Texas; O. P.
McDonald of Amarillo, Texas, R. B. McDonald of Fisher, and A. E.
McDonald of Belmont; and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Stevens of
Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Guy Snelling of Converse.
