Agnes Laverne McDonald

  Mrs. Agnes Laverne McDonald, 43, died Sunday, Oct. 28, at her
Keithville residence, after a short illness.

  Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m., in the Union
Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, and the
Rev. Sid Young officiating. Burial followed in the Union Springs
Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include one son, Donald Lee McDonald of Keithville;
one daughter, Cherly Lynn McDonald of Keithville; her mother,
Lillian Stephens of Converse; six brothers, Norman J. Stephens of
Ruston, Hugh L. Stephens of Port Neches, Tx., Lindsey Stephens of
Converse, A. J. Stephens of Mansfield, Edgar L. Stephens of
Belmont, and Frank Stephens of Keithville; and two sisters,
Earline Adams of Stonewall, and Virginia Bucknum of Saudi Arabia.
