Officiating were the Rev. Randy Bailey, pastor of Corner Stone Baptist Church, and Dr. Jim Moore, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Forest Park. Mr. McDonald, a native of DeQueen, Ark., and a resident of Shreveport since 1951, died Sunday, June 26, 1983, at Highland Hospital, following a short illness. He was a retired self employed machinist, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Many, and a member of First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his son, Harry Eugene McDonald, and survived by his wife, Mrs. Harry McDonald; five grandchildren, Mike, and Paula McDonald, Terry, and Doreen McDonald, and Pat McDonald, all of Shreveport; three nephews, Thomas Losey, Billy Losey, and Ralph McDonald, all of Shreveport; four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Losey, Ralph McDonald, Gary Humphries, Harold Plante, Ed Harrington, and Don Willis. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
