Harry McDonald

  Services for Mr. Harry McDonald, 77, of Shreveport, were held at
10 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, at Rose Neath's Marshall Street
Chapel. Officiating were the Rev. Randy Bailey, pastor of Corner
Stone Baptist Church, and Dr. Jim Moore, associate pastor of
First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Forest Park.

  Mr. McDonald, a native of DeQueen, Ark., and a resident of
Shreveport since 1951, died Sunday, June 26, 1983, at Highland
Hospital, following a short illness. He was a retired self
employed machinist, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Many, and a
member of First United Methodist Church.

  He is preceded in death by his son, Harry Eugene McDonald, and
survived by his wife, Mrs. Harry McDonald; five grandchildren,
Mike, and Paula McDonald, Terry, and Doreen McDonald, and Pat
McDonald, all of Shreveport; three nephews, Thomas Losey, Billy
Losey, and Ralph McDonald, all of Shreveport; four great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Billy Losey, Ralph McDonald, Gary Humphries,
Harold Plante, Ed Harrington, and Don Willis. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
