At the time of her death, Mrs. McDonald was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church in Converse. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at First Baptist Church of Converse, with interment following at Converse Cemetery. Bro. Adrian Fairchild, pastor of First Baptist Church of Converse, officiated, and Bro. Jimmy Price, pastor of First Baptist Church of Noble, assisted. Survivors include four sons, Don McDonald and wife Doris, and J. T. McDonald and wife Lillian, and Jerry McDonald, all of Converse, and Robert McDonald and wife Wanda of Shreveport; two daughters, Mary Hawthorne and husband Gerald of Converse, and Betty English and husband Donnie of Keithville; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of first Baptist Church. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
