McDonald, 93, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at the First Baptist Church in Many. Interment followed in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Ratcliff, and Rev. Mack Brister officiated. Mrs. McDonald passed away Thursday, March 8, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. She is survived by six sons, James H. McDonald of Amarillo, Texas, Ray Douglas McDonald of Shreveport, Willie G. McDonald Jr. of Huntsville, Texas, Robert Jack McDonald of Atlanta, Georgia, John B. McDonald of Baton Rouge, and Leo W. McDonald of Shreveport; two daughters, Loyce Palmer, and Doris Wright, both of Many; three sisters, Clara McDonald of Shreveport, and Billie Erickson, and Marie Slaupas, both of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included Larry McDonald, Ray (Jr.) McDonald, Neel McDonald, Rocky Wright, Wayne McDonald, and Tracy McDonald. To follow the casket, were Joel Palmer, Wiley III McDonald, and Rex Wright. Bo McDonald provided music.
