Officiating were Rev. Carl Munyon, pastor of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell. Miss McDonald died Thursday, August 10, 1995, at West Carroll Care Center, after a lengthy illness. She was born September 28, 1903, was a former resident of Mitchell, and resided in Oak Grove. Miss McDonald was a retired elementary school teacher in Sabine Parish. She was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers. She is survived by nieces, Frances Simmons of Stonewall, and Ruthie Davis of Houma; nephews, Glen Ray McDonald, and Ronald McDonald, both of Houma, Wilburn McDonald of Morgan City, Valery McDonald, and Talton McDonald, both of Converse, Don McDonald of Alexandria, Va., and Maurice McDonald of Oak Grove. Pallbearers will be nephews.
