Mrs. Cordie Masters

  Mrs. Cordie Masters, 88, of Many, died in Shreveport, Saturday,
Nov. 20, at 12:15 a.m., after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church,
Monday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. C. H. Welch, and the
Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are one brother, Jim Gibson of Natchitoches,
one sister, Sarah Singletary of Plainview; two step-daughters,
Mrs. Ella Hildebrand, Shreveport, and Mrs. Ethel McMurray of New
Orleans; two step-sons, Walter Masters of Shreveport, and Arthur
Masters of Quilan, Tex., and a host of nieces and nephews.
