The Sabine Index - Mrs. Lena C. McDiarmid

  12 Jan 1962 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Lena C. McDiarmid, age 81
years who died Jan. 7 were conducted at Gandy Baptist church at
10 a.m., Jan. 9, with Rev. H. H. Tibbetts and Rev. H. E. Chance
officiating. Interment was in Florien Cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are, husband, Scott McDiarmid of Florien, 3 sons, J.
C. of Independence, Kansas, L. W. of El Dorado, Ark., and Willie
of Warren, Ark., two daughters, Mrs. Maggie King of Mrs. Gertie
Edwards both of Florien. 16 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
