Mrs. Nora P. Masters

  Mrs. Nora P. Masters, 81, of Many, died Tuesday, March 6, 1984,
in the Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport, at 5:36 a.m.

  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Joel C. Masters, Sr., of
Many; three sons, Joel C. Masters, Jr. Shreveport, Harold D.
Masters, Pineville, and Rodney G. Masters, Many; three daughters,
Effie M. Maxey, Shreveport, Eula M. Robertson, Florien, and
Jimmie M. Snell, Many; three brothers, Emmett L. Peterson, and
DeWitt A. Peterson, both of DeRidder, and Walter F. Peterson,
Jamestown; four sisters, Alice P. Sandel, Florien, Della P. Cook,
Denham Springs, Mae P. Rains, Orange, Tex., Josia B. Stroud,
Many; 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Masters will be conducted today,
Thursday, March 8, at 10 a.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel in Many. Rev. C. E. Bell, and Rev. Jerry Bell will
officiate. Burial will be in the Florien Cemetery.
