Mr. Oscar Edward Masters

  Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Edwards Masters of Hornbeck, were
held Sunday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m., at Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, with burial in Kisatchie Cemetery. Bro. Dean Crittenden
officiated. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Masters died Friday, September 7, 1984, at Shreveport, at
6:45 p.m., after an extended illness. He was 71 years old.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera Kay Masters of Hornbeck;
his mother, Mrs. Minnie Masters of Many; three brothers, Othal
Masters of Florien, Curtis Masters of Springhill, and Mr. Jesse
Masters of Springhill; one sister, Mrs. Paralea Thaxton of
Florien; and a number of nieces and nephews.
