Mr. Otha Leon Masters

  Mr. Otha Leon Masters, 81, of Florien, died Saturday, Jan. 20,
2001, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22, at
Plainview Baptist Church, with interment following at Prewitts
Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck. Bro. Glenn Flenniken, and Bro. Bobby
Dye officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Larah Jane Masters of Florien;
three daughters, Margie McCleary and husband Charles of Florien;
two sons, Bobby Masters and wife Janet of Benton; one sister,
Para Lee Thaxton and husband, Tommie of Florien; two brothers,
Curtis Masters and wife Elaine of Cowan, Tenn., and James Masters
and wife Shirley of Springhill; 12 grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Eric Durr, Jared Durr, Brad Masters, Brandon
Masters, Brian Masters, Brett McCleary, and Bruce McCleary.
