Joe Meshell

  Funeral services for Joe Meshell, 87, were held at 10 a.m., Monday,
Aug. 16, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Msgr.
Robert C. Friend officiating. Burial was in the Old Zwolle Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Meshell died in Shreveport, Friday, following a brief illness.

  Survivors include his widow; seven sons, Louis, Wilson, William,
Johnny, Johnny Ray, and Gary Meshell, all of Zwolle, and J. T. Meshell
of Shreveport; seven daughters, Mrs. Rosie Ebarb, Mrs. Ivie Lee Malmay,
and Mrs. Jo Ann Ezernack, all of Zwolle, Bernadette Meshell of Bridge
City, Tex., Mrs. Julia Gala of Leesville, Mrs. Pearl Bebee of Converse,
Mrs. Mary Garcie of Zwolle, and a number of grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
