Mizell, 62, died Wednesday, June 16, in a trailer fire in Many. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, in the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Mizell is survived by his widow; six sons, U. D. Mizell, Jr. of Tyler, Bobby E. Mizell of Kilgore, James T. Mizell of Vicksburg, Miss. Roy L. Mizell, Wayne D. Mizell, Don Paul Mizell, all of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Horton of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Jackie Holcomb of Shreveport; five brothers, Rudolph, John, and Walter Mizell, all of Hallsville, Tex., Snyder Mizell of Mt. Pleasant, Tex., William T. Mizell of Kilgore; one sister, Mrs. Bryant Weeks of Hallsville; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roger Wilson, Darrell Shanks, Kenneth Walker, Bobby Derrick, LeWayne Horton, and Carol Mitchell.
