Edna Meshell

  Mrs. Edna Meshell, 77, died in Shreveport on Saturday, August
16, at 7 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Meshell is survived by four sons, J. D. Meshell of Many,
Herbert Meshell of Diana, Tex., Charles Meshell, and David
Meshell, both of Shreveport; four daughters, Lil Crittenden of
Florien, Corine Caskey of Bossier City, Ethel Wright of Florien,
and Margaret Behan of Bossier City; 26 grandchildren, and 24
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Emanuel Gospel Church on
Sunday, August 17, at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Leman Manasco
officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Sam Parrie, Wayne Meshell, Wesley Martinz Sr.,
John F. Meshell, Kenneth Meshell, and Charles I. Meshell.
