The Sabine Index - Mrs. Blanche West Meshell

  9 Sep 1949 - Funeral ties for Mrs. Blanche West Meshell, age
49, who died at Sabine clinic in Zwolle Tuesday, Aug. 30, after a
lengthy illness, were held 5 p.m. Wednesday of last week from
Aimwell Baptist church with Rev. Joe Flanagan, pastor for Jewella
Baptist church, Shreveport, officiating, assisted by Rev. S. M.
Mulkey, pastor, First Baptist church, Zwolle.

  Pallbearers were her nephews, Jack Napier, Jack Meshell, Marvin
West, Gerald Meshell, Elbert Meshell and Howard West.

  Interment was in Aimwell cemetery with arrangements
by Massingill funeral home.

  Surviving are: her husband, E. E. Meshell, Zwolle; a
sister, Mrs. Mae Sherbeno, Shreveport; seven brothers, Ed Napier,
Oak Grove, John Napier and Gus West, both of Zwolle, Bob West,
Kirbyville, Texas, Jack West, Woodville, Texas, Hubert West,
Hemphill, Texas and Tom West, Zwolle.

  Mrs. Meshell was loved by all who knew her. She had
been ill for the past five years and was hospitalized most of
that time. She was a member of Aimwell Baptist church and before
her illness was active in religious affairs. We extend our
deepest sympathy to Mr. Meshell, who was so faithful during her
time of need.
