Luis Michael

  Services for Luis Michael of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m.,
Friday, March 21, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street
Chapel, with the Rev. N. O. Pugh, associate pastor of First
Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park West
Cemetery.

  Mr. Michael died Wednesday, March 19, at Willis-Knighton Medical
Center, after a brief illness.

  A native of Zwolle, he had lived in Shreveport for 49 years. He
was a retired employee of Texas and Pacific Railroad, and a
Baptist.

  Survivors include son, Joe L. Michael of Shreveport;
stepdaughter, Susie Chaves of Longview, Texas; sister, Edna
Procell of Coushatta; and brother, Blass Michael of New Orleans.

  Pallbearers were Roy Procell, Robert Procell, Joe Procell,
Manuel Hernandez, Phillip Hernandez, and Freddie Hernandez.
