Emmett Eugene Meshell

  Funeral services for Mr. Emmett Eugene Meshell of Zwolle, will
be held Thursday, June 23, 1983, at 3 p.m., at Aimwell Baptist
Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev.
Charles Duncan will officiate. Services will be under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Meshell died Wednesday, June 22, at 4:45 a.m., at the
Pleasant Hill Hospital, after an extended illness. He was 90
years old.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Iva Lea Meshell of Zwolle;
four sons, DeWayne Meshell, David Meshell, Donald Meshell, all of
Zwolle, Dennis Meshell of Cotton Valley; one sister, Exie Powell
of Hornbeck; and 8 grandchildren.
