Meshell, 23, of Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 29, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leger Tremblay, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where Mr. Meshell was a member, officiated. Burial: Forest Park West Cemetery. He died Tuesday, April 26, 1983, at Willis Knighton Medical Center, following an accident. Mr. Meshell, born in Converse, and a resident of Shreveport for thirteen years, had been an electrician for the Water Sewage Department of the City of Shreveport for two years. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Meshell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Meshell; one daughter, Amy Meshell; five brothers, Leonard Meshell, R. L. Meshell, Lee Meshell, Michael Meshell, and Wilbert Meshell; two sisters, Darlene Dupree, and Martha Levda, all of Shreveport; his grandmothers, Mrs. Ezernack, and Mrs. Meshell, both of Zwolle. Pallbearers were Steve Gaskin, James Gaskin Jr., Ricky Beshea, Clifton Sepulvado, Keith Meshell, and Herb Chanault.
