Moseley, 74, of Carthage, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel, in Carthage. The Rev. Jerry Burnaman officiated. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park in Carthage. Mr. Moseley, a retired compressor operator at Champlin Oil Co., in Carthage, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1984, at Panola General Hospital in Carthage, after a short illness. He was a native, and lifelong resident of Panola County, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage. He is survived by his wife, Rowena Moseley of Carthage; two sons, Bobby Moseley of Carthage, and C. A. Moseley of Longview, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ann Funderburk of Florien, La.; one brother, Lonnie Moseley of Carthage; four sisters, Mrs. Vivian Jarvis of Carthage, Mrs. Joyce Hayes of Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Mary Jane Mahan of Hobbs, N. M., Mrs. Dossie Russell of Tyler, Texas; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
