Johnny Calvin Meshell

  Services for Johnny Calvin Meshell, 62, of Grand Prairie, were
held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, at Southland Funeral Home.
Burial was at Southland Memorial Park.

  Mr. Meshell died Saturday at Cedar Creek Lake, following a
boating accident.

  Born in Mansfield, La., he was a 34 year resident of Grand
Prairie, a machinist for Multi-Amp Corporation in Dallas, and a
veteran of World War II, in the U. S. Navy.

  He is survived by his wife, Marie Meshell of Grand Prairie; one
son, Calvin Dean Meshell of Poolville; two daughters, Nadine
Fischer of Grand Prairie, and Gail Alkire of Arlington; five
brothers, Garllus Meshell of Converse, Clyde Meshell of Zwolle,
Raymond Meshell of Waring, Hermon Meshell of Tyler, and Johnny
Meshell of East Point; two sisters, Doris Padgett, and Bobby Jean
Mayfield, both of Zwolle; eight grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews.
