Burial was at Southland Memorial Park. Mr. Meshell died Saturday at Cedar Creek Lake, following a boating accident. Born in Mansfield, La., he was a 34 year resident of Grand Prairie, a machinist for Multi-Amp Corporation in Dallas, and a veteran of World War II, in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Marie Meshell of Grand Prairie; one son, Calvin Dean Meshell of Poolville; two daughters, Nadine Fischer of Grand Prairie, and Gail Alkire of Arlington; five brothers, Garllus Meshell of Converse, Clyde Meshell of Zwolle, Raymond Meshell of Waring, Hermon Meshell of Tyler, and Johnny Meshell of East Point; two sisters, Doris Padgett, and Bobby Jean Mayfield, both of Zwolle; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
