Bush Meshell

  Funeral services for Mr. Bush Meshell, 90, were held on Monday,
Sept. 21, at 4 p.m., at Snider Funeral Home.

  The Reverends David Hennigan, and James Alexander officiated.
Burial was at Perkins Cemetery.

  Mr. Meshell died at 6:25 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, in a DeQuincy
Care Center.

  A native of Zwolle, he lived in DeQuincy for 51 years. He was a
retired iron worker, with Local 591 of Shreveport. A retired
minister, he was a member of the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.

  Survivors are one daughter, Ruth Rains of DeQuincy; two sons,
Steve Meshell of Starks, and Roy Meshell of Franklin; one half
sister, Elvie Parrie of Zwolle; three half brothers, Walter
Meshell, Hosie Meshell, both of Zwolle, and Floyd Meshell of
Shreveport; 17 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and 37
great-great grandchildren.
