Mr. Garvis M. Meshell

  Services for Mr. Garvis M. Meshell, 69, were held at 10 a.m.,
Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, at United Pentecostal Church in Zwolle.
Officiating was Bro. Lamar Joy, and Bro. Roland George. Burial
was in Springridge Cemetery.

  Mr. Meshell died at 2:24 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, at
Willis-Knighton North in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carolyn R. Meshell of Converse;
son, Carl Mitchell Meshell of Shreveport; daughter, Virginia M.
and husband Tom Gatti of Zwolle; sisters, Doris Meshell Padgett,
and Bobbie Jean Meshell Mayfield of Zwolle; and brothers, Clyde
Meshell of Zwolle, and Raymond L. Meshell of Austin, Harmond
Meshell of Amarillo, Tex., and Johnny D. Meshell of Zwolle;
grandchildren, Jacquelyn, and Mandy Meshell, Chris, Richard, and
Carolyn Gatti.

  Pallbearers were Robert Padgett, Hobert Meshell, Gary Mayfield,
Stanley Guerero, Loren Stem, and Dean Meshell.
